香圣——黄庭坚Sage of Incense - Huang Tingjian

一香堂创始人魏爱国先生为纪念黄庭坚在中华香道的功绩，特创作香圣——黄庭坚香雕像。黄庭坚不但工于书法，长于诗词、精于茶道，还醉于香道，并留有“黄太史四合香”：即意合香、意可香、深静香、小宗香，并以“隐几香一炷，灵台湛空明”将香文化上升到禅和道的境界，意境深远，推动了中华香文化在海内外的传播，由此将黄庭坚尊为“香圣”。

In order to commemorate Huang Tingjian's achievements in the Chinese incense ritual, Mr. Wei Aiguo created incense sculpture of the sage of incense Huang Tingjian. Huang Tingjian was not only skilled in calligraphy, poetry and tea ceremony, but also possessed expertise in incense ritual. He composed the "Huang Taishi's Four Harmonies of Incense", namely, "Yi He Incense", "Yi Ke Incense", "Shen Jing Incense" and "Xiao Zong Incense". Huang had elevated the culture of incense to the realm of Zen and Tao with the his poem 'A single burner of incense in a hidden desk, the spiritual realm gets purified and brightened'. Due to his great contribution to the spread of Chinese incense culture, Huang Tingjian was acknowledged as the Sage of Incense.
